    To my faithful old readers and new followers alike, I hope you’ll take some time to enjoy the recommendations from the Stillness of Heart blog that I read. I like all of the author’s recommended articles, but in particular I was happy to come across the John Cusack essay in which he is quoted as saying, “Hollywood is a whore house and everyone goes mad.” There are more serious articles for your viewing as well. My thanks to this historian/writer author for his continued work(s) and recommendations. 🙂

North River Notes

Daily observations on the Hudson River as it passes through New York City. The section of the Hudson which passes through New York is historically known as the North River, called this by the Dutch to distinguish it from the Delaware River, which they knew as the South River.
